While training clients to use a WYSIWYG editor, as well as, migrating content from old content management systems, we always run into same questions on break, paragraph and div tags. What are they for and how should they be used?
Well, here is our take on it:
- The <div> tag is structural and should not be used to format content (articles, news, blogs…). In many cases, using a <div> tag in your WYSIWIG editor can break your website.
